Andrew Mijares
Pop-Country Artist
Andrew Mijares is a Miami-born pop-country artist blending emotionally grounded storytelling with the polish and energy of modern pop. With over 40,000 fans and growing support from KISS Country 99.9 FM, he has quickly emerged as one of South Florida’s most compelling rising voices.
His 2024 album Roots surpassed 80,000 streams and earned him the title “South Florida’s first country artist & The Male Taylor Swift” from KISS Country. That momentum led to standout performances at the KISS Country Undercover Concert, opening slots for CMA nominee Randy Houser and Latin country star Sammy Arriaga, and a headlining appearance on the NBC 6 Stage at Carnaval on the Mile.
The next chapter is already unfolding. His latest singles, “Zynnin’ Down the Hwy” and “Rise,” showcase a confident, cinematic evolution — bigger hooks, sharper storytelling, and a sound that feels fully realized. In March 2026, Andrew returns to Carnaval on the Mile in a prime featured slot at this year’s festival, marking another major milestone in his live trajectory.
A songwriter at heart, Andrew writes all of his own material, crafting songs that balance vulnerability with strength. His creative foundation began early — from international performances with the Miami Children’s Chorus to national campaigns with brands like Coca-Cola, Nintendo, and Nickelodeon, and starring as Joe Jonas’ character in Disney Channel’s Camp Rock: The Musical during its South Florida tour.
A graduate of the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, he spent over a decade as a worship leader performing weekly for audiences of 700+, sharpening both his stage presence and emotional connection. Television scouts soon took notice, earning him a golden ticket on FOX’s The X Factor, back-to-back producer rounds on NBC’s The Voice, and national recognition on Univision’s La Banda.
Now entering a defining creative year in 2026, Andrew is building his most personal body of work to date — writing and recording between Miami and Manhattan while expanding his live footprint. Backed by his full band, his performances are high-energy, emotionally charged, and rooted in story.
Grounded in identity and fueled by momentum, Andrew Mijares is carving out his own lane in pop-country — and this year is only raising the bar.
